I love your podcast and I love cooking! Cookbooks are my favorite pleasure reading! I’d love to win this cookbook and get a chance to try to new recipes!
I love fall recipes and really enjoy your podcast!
I love fall recipes and always enjoy your show!
Thanks Lisa!
This show was a big miss for me.
I went on Tieghan Gerard‘s websites via your links. Her “barn” is a “she shed” notably furnished by Kitchen Aid.
While I’m a Kitchen Aid consumer & approach the entrepreneurial spirit wholeheartedly, this just hit me the wrong way. There’s no doubt this will be a success, the recipes, photography & facility are a homemaker’s dream (yes, me) but I’m not going to be one to buy into it. On a good note, loved most other guests, they brought good stuff to the table and also appreciate you bridging the generation gap. I’ve grown with you since Meal Makeover Moms. Wish you all the best.
Hi Theresa: Wow. I sure appreciate your feedback. And I’m thrilled you’ve been listening since the early days of MMM. Please let me know if you enjoyed the Two Peas & Their Pod show or this week’s show on Beautiful Boards. Wishing you a happy holiday season, Liz
I love fall, because of all the great, seasonal produce. I get so excited to cook/bake more (of course, the cooler temp makes it much more inviting as the kitchen doesn’t get too hot). So, I’d really enjoy this cookbook.
I’m with you on that. Once it gets cold outside, I tend to cook and bake a lot more. In fact, I’m craving homemade banana bread right about now!
I love pumpkin season. Mostly because of the roasted seeds!! I never know what to do with all that pumpkin though ?
Carving pumpkins are not really ideal for cooking, though their seeds are. It’s the small sugar pumpkins that are best for roasting.
Honey roasted pumpkin with pecans and feta cheese. Yum! I look forward to try different recipes from this new cookbook.
Yum! I just got some Honeynut Squash, and I may just roast it and stuff with pecans and feta! https://liz.afones.com/2018/11/27/honeynut-squash-stuffed-with-caramelized-onion-cranberries-spinach-and-bacon/
I love Half Baked Harvest!
One of my favorite fall sides is Brussels and sweet potato with balsamic glaze.
I love to buy the apples that aren’t so pretty at the farmer’s market and make a big batch of applesauce in the crockpot. Not only does it taste great but it makes the house smell wonderful. I also sometimes mix in pears, too. I’d love to win the cookbook to learn more fall recipes
I love the apple/pear applesauce combo too. Have you seen my recipe on LHT? It’s stovetop … but I like your easy crockpot idea! https://liz.afones.com/2014/09/29/apple-pear-sauce/
I love adding pumpkin to everything!
We love a butternut squash pasta with spinach, sausage and sage! I would love to win this book to find more quick, easy dinners that use whole foods. With 4 kids and a full time job, I can use all the help I can get.
Well, it sure sounds like you have a “full plate!” What’s your family’s favorite weeknight dinner?
I LOVED her first cookbook (Half Baked Harvest) and would love to peek into the new one. My harvest food will always be apples for the classic Apple crisp! Nothing says fall more than apples and cinnamon baking up to bubbly perfection!
I’m with you on that. I have an apple crisp recipe on the blog but it also calls for strawberries and rhubarb. More of an early fall recipe!! You could make it with apples and pears too. Give it a try 🙂
Your cookbook looks delicious!
Fall is my favorite season for many reasons but one of them is soup and stew season. One of my favorite fall recipes is Harvest Stew with butternut squash in the crock pot.
Oh yum. What recipe do you follow for that harvest stew?
I enjoy collecting cookbooks and trying new recipes even though I am often half baked.
Ha ha! I’m with you on collecting cookbooks. A bit of an addiction 😉
Aah! Two of my favorite food people in one podcast.
So excited about the new cookbook.
Everything I make from her website is phenomenal.
My husband knows both of your names and trusts the food will be good.
You have made my day! Thanks for the good vibes 🙂
I’ve been following Half Baked Harvest on Instagram for awhile know and I love Tieghan’s recipes!
Her photos are gorgeous!
I love everything with fresh picked apples but my favorites are apple crisp, apple pie, and applesauce. This cookbook sounds amazing.
Have you tried Honey Crisp or Ambrosia apples? Crispy, sweet, and perfect for fall 🙂
For years I have been sneaking roasted butternut squash into the pasta sauce I make for my Dad. That pizza looks soooooo much yummier! I also love chunks of squash in a kale salad with goat cheese.
Kale and butternut squash are a natural!
I love It! Very inspiring!
I’d love to win this cookbook to be able to really get some quick And easy but delicious meals on table for my family. One of my favorite fall ingredients is butternut quash I love to roast it whole to make a mash ,dice it up and roast it with Brussels sprouts to add to risotto or just enjoy as a side. Fall is my absolute favorite weather season and good season.
The only reason I love fall is because of all the delicious vegetables and fruits that the season offers. My family enjoys baked squash and sweet potatoes. I don’t know how else to cook these vegetables. Would love this cookbook to learn ways to incorporate healthy veggies into our meals. Love love love your podcasts. Thank you so much for them.
I have been following this author for years now on her blog…. She makes a delicious cookie cereal for breakfast that I enjoy. I would love to win her book!
I love the apples that are so fresh in the fall. I have a recipe my aunt handed down to me. It is a fresh apple layer cake with yummy cream cheese frosting. It is absolutely divine.
I follow Half Baked Harvest and love her recipes! Everyone is so busy these days, and good, simple recipes are always needed! I love apples and my family loves apple crisps and apple pie with strusel topping.
I’m with you on the apple crisp!
I’d love to know the best method for the most crisp crust on a pizza stone pizza.
I peruse Tieghan’s website often and am always impressed with her recipes, especially the various pizza combinations she creates. The Harvest Butternut Squash and Apple pizza is definitely on my “to make list”. Also, the desserts…well…I suggest everyone check out her cakes! I’d really love a copy of her book, her recipes are easy to follow, use widely available ingredients and are just plain tasty!
I love fall cooking because of the fall flavors and seasonings. Squash, pumpkin, root veggies, dark greens–I love it all! I’d love to win the cookbook so I have even more great fall recipes to pull from for my family. Keep up the great podcast!
Fall cooking is my favorite because you can incorporate so many vegetables with sweeter produce like apples to make a fun and interesting dish! I’d love to win this cookbook to try out new fall recipes for my fiance and friends!
Apple pear crisp.
Super easy and fun recipes are always welcome here. And a new cookbook to boot. Yeah!!
Ali
Fall is my favorite season for cooking and baking. My favorite fall soup is a butternut squash and apple soup, and my children adore pumpkin muffins. I would love to add a new cookbook to my recipe collection! Looking forward to Thanksgiving and all the delicious root vegetable side dishes too. One of my favorites is a roasted sweet potato, apple and pineapple dish.
Oh, my goodness! That butternut squash and apple pizza is making me drool! I want to win the cookbook and try that! Yum!~
It sure is drool-worthy!!
I would love to win some simple recipes!
One of my favorites that I make is an apple bread that I make for breakfast.
I am so excited about this cookbook! Simple and delicious recipes are hard to find. I’m a full time working mom and I need all the help I can get to keep turning out homecooked meals throughout the week.
